Pop Up, Sign Up!
Take action now! Thursday, July 13th between 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM, the Board of Directors visited your homes to collect and notarize signatures as votes towards amending the Declaration of Restrictions. If you missed this opportunity, please take the time to visit our "Pop UP Shop" Location: Cul-de-sac on New Jersey Court. Time: 5:00PM- 7:00PM Date: Thursday, August 17th.

You can also visit your local UPS store to obtain notarization and mail in your signed and notarized form to HAS at P.O box 26145 Overland Park Kansas 66225. The UPS store nearest your HOA is located at 10940 Parallel Pkwy Ste K, Kansas City KS 66109. You are also welcome to visit your local courthouse. Please note if you are not able to mail in your form contact Kora Scarpa to arrange a time for pickup. It's crucial that you participate in this vote to decide whether to amend the covenants or maintain them as they are. Please note that votes cast at the annual meeting do NOT count towards this polling.

All registered lot owners listed on the title of each lot must sign to vote, accompanied by an ID. If both you and your spouse are on the title, both of you need to sign the same signature page. However, signatures are only for homeowner's not renters. If there is only one homeowner, only that person needs to sign. The signature pages will already be prepopulated with Wyandotte County's records, listing the owners of each lot. To obtain this form contact Home Associations Solutions.

Your participation is crucial! This vote aims to eliminate contradictory language within the covenants, empower the association to enforce its covenants and address violations, and restore order to the association's operations and future governance.

We need a minimum of 118 owners to support the amendment for it to pass. We currently have 61 votes. The majority vote among the accounted-for owners will determine whether the amendment succeeds or fails. The deadline for collecting signature pages is October 5th, 2023. On this date, the HOA will count the signatures and verify if we have met the minimum requirement, notifying the community of the results. If the amendment does not pass, you will also be notified of the HOA fee increase required to cover the costs outlined in the current covenants. The increased monthly fee would commence in January 2024.
